Work is going on very hard in the potato field as soon as possible we are trying to finish the work of making the potato field. There is still a lot of work to do, I have started giving organic fertilizer from yesterday. Major soil energy Biofertilizers increase soil fertility and ensure crop nutrition.
Since we get a lot of organic manure (dung) from our own cow farm, we do not want to have shortage of organic manure in our land. We have started application of organic fertilizers in the land since morning. Today also we have hired 6 workers and we ourselves have joined them in the work. Today 7 people are delivering organic fertilizer to the land, two of us are sprinkling the organic fertilizer on the land. We continued to work like this until noon.
We have to complete yesterday's incomplete threshing work today. Repairing the thresher machine is coming today after noon to thresh the paddy at our house. We started the threshing machine after lunch.
We have sold our rice. We mostly sell our farm produce directly from home. We get some benefits if we sell the produce from home to the wholesaler instead of selling it in the market We do not charge transportation. If the product is sold in the market, the tax is not more than 1 to 2 kg per sack from the farmer, which is a loss to the farmer. If you sell from home, you don't have to pay extra. If we sell paddy from the market, we do not have to pay labor. The wholesalers themselves fill the bags and weigh them. Yes you may think the price is lower than the market but no the price is in line with the market.
Today we have sold 122 sacks (75 kg per sack) of paddy. Our paddy is 1300 taka (58 stm) per maund (40 kg). Till evening our paddy threshing continued and we finished our threshing. Today I got a neck pain from carrying sack of paddy on my head so I stopped work from afternoon. Worked to bring bags of rice since afternoon.
I took a bath in the evening, it's winter now, so I'm quite cold. My mother made me tea before she made me noodles and I sat in the room and had my snack. Went to mother's room for tea and drank a cup of tea. Today, rice wholesalers are packing rice sacks till night, they are carrying rice sacks. I am very tired. Today, two jobs are going on at the same time. Now it is time to sleep, the body is already very sleepy.
