Time to Sow The Seed is Coming {ENG-IND}

Few days ago, I walked to the embankment near to my house. I intended to take some photos of embankment farmer activity. They were about to sow the shrimp seeds. Actually, it is a traditional embankment which is still preserved generation to generation. They prefer to keep this way instead of modern one. The owner relied on the person's skill to treat the embankment. Time to sow the shrimp seeds is on the way.

Beberapa hari lalu, saya berjalan-jalan ke tambak dekat rumah saya. Saya bermaksud ingin mengambil beberapa gambar tentang kegiatan petani tambak. Mereka hendak menyebar benih udang ke tambak mereka. Itu tambak tradisional yang masih dilestarikan dari generasi ke generasi. Mereka lebih menyukai dengan cara tradisional ketimbang dengan cara moderen. Pemilik lebih mengandalkan keahlian pekerja untuk merawat tambak.

Before they sowed the shrimp seed, the seeds were earlier put into plastic bag. They were kept for few day to make the seeds a little bigger that will then ready to spread over the water.

Sebelum mereka menabur benih udang, petani tambak lebih dulu ditaruh ditaruh di dalam kantong plastik. Mereka menyimpannya untuk beberapa hari untuk membuat benih sedikit besar yang kemudian siap ditabur ke tambak.

Their job is making sure that the shrimp seeds are being in perfect condition through the treatment they had made. The plastic bags were floated to let the seeds go over the water. In doing so, whole the seeds are counted to make sure the bag has enough space for the seeds.

That is the first process of spreading the shrimp seeds. The plastic bags were opened and they roll the head of plastic to let some air into it. They are doing it manually, without having any such of modern way to make their job done quickly. They just needs a hand skill to roll it.
