Fascinating Brown Shield Bug
Shield bugs (Pentatomidae)are one of the attractive insects, easily found around the forest. They also call stink bugs because when they feel their life in danger, some species produce a pungent liquid from special glands near their hind legs (poke one and then sniff your hand). Shield bugs may vary in color, mostly found brown and green. Just like I found this afternoon, a brown shield bug was perching on wild grass. I thought I had nothing around the grass in front of the house due to the flood that occurred a few days ago, but after spending some time searching I finally found this attractive species staying calm on the grass before it made a quick move.
