Dubai builds blockchain technology

The local government in Dubai has officially launched its own cryptocracy called Emac, according to local media ads. The hidden currency will be used to pay government and non-government services.

Ali Ibrahim, Deputy Director General of Dubai Economy, said that this code is a legal tender for "various governmental and non-governmental services, from their daily fees of coffee and children to utility fees and remittances."
