Pirlo, Assistant Coach of Mancini in Italy

The new coach of the Nazionale, Roberto Mancini, wants to integrate Andrea Pirlo into his staff. An agreement has already been reached between the Italian football federation and the former Juventus midfielder.

The former maestro of the Squadra Azzura would prepare a big return. Barely retired, Andrea Pirlo (39) would find the grounds from the bench. According to the Italian news agency ANSA, the former midfielder is expected to occupy in the coming days the post of Roberto Mancini's assistant in the Italian selection.

ANSA also reports that Pirlo has already reached an agreement with the Italian Federation (FIGC).

However, a concern remains to be settled. FIGC Commissioner Roberto Fabbricini has to check the compatibility of the role of assistant coach with that of consultant for the Sky Italia channel, which is occupied by Andrea Pirlo.
