مدينة مغربية تقع قرب مدينتي فاس ومكناس بإقليم إفران وتضم 14.659 نسمة (إحصاء 2014). تعتبر إفران من أقدم المدن المغربية الجبلية وتقع على ارتفاع 1.655 فوق سطح البحر وتمتاز بالبرد القارس والثلوج التي تغطي سفوح جبالها في الخريف والشتاء واعتدال الجو في الصيف والربيع، وتجذب الزوار بشلالاتها المائية وطبيعتها الخضراء. كما تعتبر أنظف المدن العربية والثامنة عالميا حسب دراسات بريطانية وسويسرية .

في موسم الربيع تتزين مدينة إفران بغابات الأرز، والمراعي التي تنتعش بالحياة وفي الشتاء هناك تناقض حاد في المناخ بسبب المناخ الحار والجاف الذي يحيط بالمنطقة. ونظراً لسهولة الوصول إليها، تعتبر إفران قبلة الأثرياء الأمازيغ، من فاس ومكناس، ومراكش، الذين يتدفقون هنا لتجربة فصل شتاء أوروبي.

كانت مدينة افران هي مقصد المغاربة الفارين من الاستعمار الفرنسي، نتيجة لمقاومتهم له، لتصبح مع مرور الزمن، من الأماكن المفضّلة للزوار سعياً للراحة والاستجمام، لكونها تتمتّع بجوّ معتدل يتّصف باللطف، وبذلك زاد من روعتها كثرة المتنزهات، والتي كان لها الدور الكبير في جذب السّياح، فتتصّف بأنّها مدينة لا تعرف السكون، نظراً لوجود سياحة عالمية فيها على مدار العام، إن كان في الصيف، وإن كان في الشتاء بغيّة مزاولة الرياضات وخاصّة التزلّج، خاصّة بأنّ فيها أكبر منتجع أفريقي للتزلّج، فتنوّعت منتجعاتها السياحيّة، ومطاعمها وفنادقها، وتشتهر أيضاً فيها رياضة القنص البرّي ، إذ يشارك فيها كلّ من هواة الصيد المغاربة وحتى الأجانب.
