A Quick Advice to those who are Candidates for the Barangay Election 2018

If you are running for SK or Barangay position,  be sure that you know how to:

1. Write a formal letter
2. Draft a resolution
3. Prepare budgetary plans & reports
4. Communicate 
5. Organize, implement,  manage & evaluate events
6. Make project/program proposals
7. Be a leader who functions for the greater good. 
8. Greater ideas for the betterment of the community
9. Handle stress & pressure
10. Connect & sympathize with your constituents

If you don't have any of these, you have no idea with what you are entering. This is not the right path to gain popularity. 

I considered this post as my #ulog 1.0 initiated by @surpassinggoogle since I am expressing my inner thought here and my perception on the upcoming SK & Barangay Election. Since I've been through in this political position and I could conclude that this is not easy. Serving to the barangay,  serving to the people is not easy you need to put your heart in it. You need to be passionate in serving your people. 

I was elected as SK chairman to our barangay last May 2010. I was too young back then and was given such great responsibity, not easy right? As what superman said "GREAT POWER COMES WITH GREAT RESPONSIBILITY" People will always judge. Their judgement will be all based on my lapses, they will generalize everything. They don't even know how to appreciate. While I am doing my very best to serve them passionately and implementing projects for the betterment of the barangay.
