When @abcdoctor was about this little:
- with a cool haircut, snazzy sweater and frost-bitten lips, he used to collect matchbox labels.
Now, that @abcdoctor is bigger and has realized just how rare and valuable these things are, he is prepared to share them with the Steemit world, for a reasonable amount of upvotes and comments!

I have a small matchbox collection. I see them sometimes at estate sales. I remember as a young child I had Matchbox Cars. Is there a connection between the matchboxes and the cars I wonder. Thanks for sharing. Nice Pic of you. - Troy

Nice! Now the question everyone will have is how much are these things worth! Or are they valuable in a sentimental sense? My grandfather used to collect cigar bands ... that was his hobby & and smoking the things of course ;)

Altogether, there are 174 labels, all from that era. I got memory flashbacks while looking through them the other day.
