Suggestion to include a search and a calendar feature to filter through messages by date within a chat interface

I am suggesting the addition of a search tab within the chat interface where users can travel back to time with the help of a calendar tool.
Proposal Description
I have used the delta chat application for quite some time now, and I wish to propose a search feature within the chat interface. I’m proposing that the developers should create and implement a chat interface within the chat interface which will display a calendar tool for user to access. When the search tool is created, it should have the ability to filter messages shared within a particular date.
The developers of the delta chat application should design the search feature in such a way that when it is clicked, it should pop up a calendar tool so that users can filter messages by picking a date. When the date is clicked, it should display only the messages shared within that date.

Benefits
I know a lot of improvements are witnessed on a daily basis within the delta chat GitHub account. I wrote an article on this proposal here and here and it was declined on GitHub with the developers favoring the one I posted on the delta chat support forum. He liked the post with the delta chat support forum so I believe it is a feature that will be attained too in less than no time.
The benefits of a search feature implemented within the chat interface is much. It will reduce the hectic job faced by users while trying to located a particular message shared within a conversation. I believe that this feature will be a great plus to both the users and the platform it self. With the help of the search feature implemented within the chat interface, users will be able to filter messages with respect to dates.

The feature you have suggested for Deltachat application is to implement a feature that will give ability to show only selected date's messages,in my point of view this feature would be efficient for users that search for a specific dates chat.
On the other hand,this feature is a minor improvement that will not change applications situation or have a big impact.
Additionally,the way you present your mockups are really great keep it up,thank you very much.
