Music and How I First Started Playing Guitar.

Music and me Part 1

Okay, here we go. This is a story of how I got hooked up with music and the first time I learn how to play a guitar.

When I was in a kindergarden, which is at St.Mary's Kindergarden, Sandakan, the first song that I was really into it, is Back Street Boys. That time, we had it was our graduation day, we had a performance to dance along with 4 of my classmates, @edulan is one of them. Back Street Boys was famous back then,in my era, where band boys were dominating music industry.

EVERYBODY!

As I growing up, I listened to all kinds of music, country, pop, rock and roll, oldies, etc..

It was 2003,when I was in primary 6, I started to listened to Linkin Park, Limb BizKit, and other bands that were rising up during that time. As I never listen to this kind of song before, that feeling of want to headbanging just suddenly appear, automatically, without the knowledge of how to headbang before, as if these music were your dance teacher, guiding you how to move your body, in every parts, to your deepest soul.

As these bands were shaping my entire music life, I still don't have the instruments , I just miming or doing air-drum and pretending as I was playing the one playing the drum ( although I'm still not good at drumming, haha!).

The first song i've heard for Linkin Park and Limb Bizkit is In The end and Rollin'. Oh yeah, those days when you listened to these song, they were the coolest thing! Unfortunately, I didn't got the chance to see them live, especially Linkin Park, because, their lead singer, Chester Bennington found death by commiting suicide. He was a great and amazing singer and person as well.
