Starting from the beginning.

Hello everyone. How are you all? Today, after a few months of inactive in workout, I finally joined my friend, Fernandez, whom introduced me CROSSFIT, to went to the crossfit gym here in Sandakan.

Okay, short info for anyone that doesn't know about Crossfit, or also known as functional gym, in my own opinion and understanding, and some from other sources, is a fitness regimen consisting of strength, conditioning, endurance, and stamina workout.

Crossfit designed to improve fitness and health, whereby workout capacity is increased across broad time and modal domains.

CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more.

These are the core movements of life. They move the largest loads the longest distances, so they are ideal for maximizing the amount of work done in the shortest time. Intensity is essential for results and is measurable as work divided by time—or power.

Now , the place that I went for Crossfit is Let's Fit. It is located at Midtown, just across Bandar Letat Jaya, Sandakan, Sabah. It's a new place but I dont't know since when, with only RM10 for walk-in fees.

I haven't been to Crossfit or any functional gym since, I think , last year. So , I have a lot to catch up to, in terms of fitness and conditioning


Felt my body a bit loosen, since I haven't done a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) in such a long time.

I have a target ideal body weight, which is 70 or 75 kg.

Right now , i'm weighing at 65 kg so another 5kg or 10 kg to go! Fighting! .


WOD

So, picture above is WOD, which stands for Workout of the day. Usually, you can follow WOD through apps you can find in the PlayStore for android users, or AppleStore for IOS users. Or you can just check in the internet, or you can arrange the workout by yourself, if you are a certified gym trainer.

*So, I and my friend did the For Time workout, which is a 3 set of 21,15,9 reps of The Clean and Ring Dips.

This is me doing The Clean and Ring Dips. My form was so poor, it shows that I've been skipping my workout routine for the past few months. Haha.

So, yeah that's it for the beginning of my journey of getting back into fitness. Hope I can consistently maintain my workout routine.
