The New Human Rights Movement

This hour long Lecture followed by an hour of question and answer is in my opinion, a comprehensive SOLUTION to every major global issue we face today! No Joke!

Peter Joseph's research is the reason I believe life on this planet could be so incredibly better for everyone then it is right now. This is the reason I am so upset with the way things are. If the current institutions were the best we could do, fine, but they are most definitely not even CLOSE to the best WE can do.

Peter Joseph is the founder of the Zeitgeist Movement. He's speaking on his book "The New Human Rights Movement" which talks about our global economic system and the documented effect this has had on both our individual human development on all levels as well as our social development. He then goes on to explain issue by issue how we solve everything. It can be complicated at first but if you take the time to really listen anyone can grasp the ideas presented. IT HELPS A LOT TO TAKE NOTES. To be honest if you really wish to comprehend what's said in lectures you have to listen to them repeatedly in which case playing them in the background while you do other things is a wonderful idea, giving you the freedom to focus in closer when he talks about points that catch your interest or that you're trying to specifically understand. I take for granted that i've been studying this sort of thing since 2007 and if all the information were put into a university format i would probably qualify for several degrees. My point is, so can you. you just have to put in the time reading and listening. We have to be willing to accept we are all capable of being wrong. This is how we create the space for being accurate.

People love to give long technical arguments on why we should just maintain the status quo and yet the basic argument is always the same. We should not share and continue fighting over everything. I find that absurd. No one can move out of "fear based consciousness" toward one oriented around love let alone begin the process of making an inner, psychological and spiritual journey, result of which compels one to naturally behave with respect and responsibility toward themselves and others and the planet.....AS LONG AS THEY ARE "ECONOMICALLY, SOCIALLY, AND ENVIRONMENTALLY" TRAPPED IN THAT FEAR BASED CONSCIOUSNESS, by the current system of competition.

There is ZERO need to "emphasize" personal responsibility. We just need to create the space for the natural sense of personal responsibility to develop on it's own. People inherently WANT to be responsible for themselves. The rush towards handouts in this day and age is a result of realizing there are no better options out there for most people. We have been conditioned to believe however that these people are just lazy and want everything done for them, when really the ability to do so has been categorically denied to a psychologically traumatizing degree. Basically just being poor gives you PTSD.

Why is there an aversion to helping people on this planet? There's no intellectual elite takeover when everyone is an intellectual, however if you "teach a man to fish" but then deny him the resources to create the fishing pole as well as access to the lake, well then what's the point of teaching him anything at all.
