I want to share this guide I found on understanding plagiarism and how to know if you have done it.

This seems to be a big issue on SteemIt so i decided to look into it a bit.
I don't want to be guilty of this and i'm sure no one else does so if you plan to post on SteemIt, it's probably a good idea to take a look at this article by a Mr. Curtis Newbold, written on September 16, 2014.

It's especially useful information when you consider there are very dedicated, very persistent, very powerful (Steem Power) groups working 24/7 to block and remove posts and accounts that engage in this sort of activity.

LET ME BE CLEAR!!

I DID NOT WRITE THIS ARTICLE! I just found it, and the only service im providing is passing it on to the people of steemit. Whether or not that actually qualifies as a service is for you to judge. I'm going to share it anyway.

Yes I agree the robot oversight does zero about those who "borrow" content posted by others here on steemit ♨ and repost as their own here or on alternate sites like Twitter and YouTube. There is definitely value from pasting data which is not plagiarism.
