Keep These Things In Mind When Doing A Giveaway

When you are a YouTuber, doing a giveaway is a great way to say thanks to your subscribers, how ever, there are a few things you must keep in mind

When you set your rules, you want them simple. It depends on what you're giving away. One thing I advise against is requiring people to subscribe. The point of a give away is giving back, you destroy the point if you want subscribers. Then there are people who will unsubscribe if they lose. From when you announce the give away and the period where you give people time to answer, they will not watch your videos. And like I said, they will unsubscribe when they lose.

You do want to keep the rules simple. Say you're giving away a web cam, have people comment what they will use it for. or if you are giving away a gift card, same principles.

If I ever do a giveaway, I won't make the requirement to be subscribed, because I don't want anything in return.
