Training DBC Youth to post in Steemit (I need help)
Hey guys! Just wanted to update you all in my on going efforts to promote steemit here in Davao. As some of you already know I have been partnering with DBC Youth to help them get started in steemit and make a positive difference in their lives by learning and earning in Steemit. Last Sunday I showed them how easy it was to create "simple" content in steemit. A video of them singing or even a group picture of them having fun!
I know these aren't the top tier content people who upvote on but it's a start. I am very excited for them! They have so much potential and so much to contribute to the platform!
These guys are a group of musicians, story tellers, aspiring photographers and as to what I would always associate with the youth, WORLD CHANGERS!
Now with all that potential one thing I am missing is the fact that they are limited due to the lack of something to use to post on steemit on. I hope to be able to come up with a program to raise funds for them or perhaps get a company to sponsor smart phones for them. This will enable them to post in steemit, take photos, videos which can become awesome niche content in steemit!
Here is a photo of me helping them out with a post. These guys had to share 1 computer to make a single post.
It is actually fun working with these guys and I really hope to help them here with steemit.
These guys are also musicians here at their church, possible open mic contestants?
What I hope to accomplish is get them all smartphones. Perhaps 5000 peso smartphones would be a great start for them. That's basically $100 per student. I hope to accomplish this soon. I just want to see these guys lives changed and make a positive and powerful contribution to steemit.
Here are some posts they made yesterday. Again I taught them how to post video links and photos in steemit. Soon I will go all in to teaching them how to write more detailed and hopefully awesome content in steemit! Please help them by helping me. You upvotes and resteems can go a long way! My mission with steemit is one for community transformation. Let's all steem to change our lives together!
