SteemPower. Benefits for your ownself ?
What are the benefits of buying steem power?
I had been trying to find the answer to this question, but i have been only partial successful. There were a lot of dump posts of SteemPower being th Boxer, or its a drone, or a train and stuff like that but they never clearly and precisely answer the benefits of SteemPower in layman's terms..
So here i am trying to answer what i know and would love to edit this post after learning more and make it a proper guide.
So the question is
What are the benefits of Steem Power ?
For me,
SteemPower is a long term investment in Steem, you can withdraw in 104 weeks, once you start to withdraw it.
It gives you power to upvoter other's content
For me these are the only two benefits of steem.
My questions are,
Other then the long term investment and upvoting others content, can you upvote your own content ?
Can you get more upvotes for your post if you have more SteemPower ?
IF a minnow upvotes your content whose vote worth around 0.1 SP for normal, can you get more reward then 0.1 SP from that minnows upvote if you have more SteemPower ?
I mean for me, other then the long term investment, SteemPower is benefical for others but not for your own post.

You can vote on your own content, but that's not what Steem Power should be used for. It should be used for voting people's posts you really like. (Ofcourse you can help yourself from time to time :P)
Yes you can. More Steempower = More power when you vote on your own post = more people see it = more upvotes
No. The only way that that could happen is that the vote draws others to it which creates a chain of votes.
Steem Power is very useful for Curation Rewards too. Just search for a good post you think will make a lot of money soon and upvote those. You can make a good income from Curation Rewards.
so you have no benefit for your own content from SteemPower ?
You definitely do. You can upvote your own content.

Yeah it does, but please do not become a self-voter... They are annoying freaks only upvoting themselves which is not the purpose of SteemIt
Steem Power can be considered like your influence. The more SP you hold, the more influence you have on what gets exposure and what does not.
Also the long term investment as you said.
i still wanted to discover something for my own content rather then others .. SP is upvote for others, curator rewards and long term invest.. thats it.. nothing for you own content.. i was hoping for something like, if you have good SP, the upvote you receive should b of high value depending your SP instead of the upvoters SP...
