Steemit Update [March 25th, 2025] : The Steemit Challenge - Applications Invited for Season 24
The Steemit Challenge, in its various forms, has now been running for 23 seasons.
In Season 23 we experimented with the Learning Clubs as a possible way to combat the ever growing use of AI. Unfortunately these had very limited success.
The numbers of participants in the Teaching Teams were also quite low.
We think therefore that it is time to try something different.
So we are throwing it over to the community.
We want your ideas…
The Steemit Challenge Goes Freestyle
We are looking for new ways to make use of the Challenge format.
That format includes two weekly posts - one setting out the week’s challenge, the other announcing the four best posts for each challenge.
Each of these posts receive a SC01 vote of 50 - 60%, and the four winning posts each week also receive votes from SC01.
Alongside these votes, a significant number of the entry posts each week also receive useful votes from SC02.
Each Challenge season runs for 6 weeks.
We want to find some novel ways to make use of the Challenge format.
It could be used to run a 6 week championship challenge for a new game on Steem.
An extended multi-level quiz might fit the format.
Or maybe a new app could run a 6 part tutorial with weekly tasks.
A collaborative script writing project might be another option.
We want to tap into the creativity of the community.
We want your new ideas.
Make Your Pitch for Season 24
If you think you have a suitable idea, tell us about it.
Outline your idea in a post, and show how it would fit in the Challenge format.
You can make a solo application, or you can form a team of up to five people.
Your post should include a draft schedule of what you would do for each of the 6 weeks.
It should include details of how people can interact and get engaged with the project.
It should also provide information about how you would select the 4 best posts each week.
The post should also contain the usual brief details about each team participant.
There are no restrictions on Steem Power, Reputation, nationality, language or community affiliations. The only restriction is that no team member should be powering down.
Posts should also contain the contact details (Telegram/Discord) of all team members.
Posts should be submitted by 11:59 pm UTC, on Friday, April 4th, 2025.
Application posts should include the tag #challengepitch in the first four tags.
The Steemit Challenge has come a long way over its 23 seasons.
Now it needs some new energy.
For that we are looking to the community.
Now is your chance to demonstrate creativity and innovation.

Welcome new thoughts to Steemitblog. I'm thinking about a few things. For example, many countries in the world have unemployment problems. Incentives need to be created to eliminate unemployment. We can organize challenges with six topics in six weeks in the form of training on different topics to create motivation. Matters should be such that benefit the people of every country. I am thinking about this topic and some other topics. There are many Steemian friends who are very talented. I look forward to seeing and reading everyone's thoughts.
That is a grand goal to eliminate unemployment. Good luck!

I want to give a suggestion that for this time's engagement season 24, thoughts should be put into engagement that it can help in reducing unemployment.
Unemployment is increasing due to rising inflation and a person is always thinking about which work to do in which investment is less and profit is more.
That is why I have come up with a suggestion for 24 seasons in which people can start work with zero investment. I am saying zero investment because nowadays everyone has an Android phone and internet. Most people are connected to social media. But not everyone knows how we can earn through social media.
My suggestion is that every week we will teach in our teaching team, "how to create a YouTube channel"

This season may be more successful if the community presents a new competition, education chain, or a unique challenge. I am also considering some ideas in this regard and I will make my suggestion soon. This is a great opportunity to present a new and useful idea for the Steemit challenge. I would like to suggest an Agriculture & Gardening or Animal Keeping Topic, which can work in the form of individual or team.
The challenge is six weeks, where a new task should be given every week, such as land manufacture, seed selection, irrigation, use of fertilizers, crop diseases and marketing.
Community members can be encouraged to be included through written reports, photos or videos. Can this topic be acceptable to the Steemit challenge? I look forward to your opinion.
Make a team if you want to, or go solo. Then make a proposal and see if you can get enough people (particularly those who are long established, with good rep) to show their support for it.
Your main problems will be verification and globalisation - and stopping people from using AI.
Surely, first of all I will try to make a team will good reputation. Ai is main problem at this platform and I will try how people avoid from it.
I think we should need to introduce some educational content in which people can show thier education & experience and can get some online certification from thier steem teachers, who can helps in their practical life too. (Especially for developers and freelancers)
For this as you write that steem learning challenge gose free style, it would be a free style and also easy for everyone.
And we can develop a site in which we can store the record of our participants and their certifications.

Can the applicant select a team within the community?
The teams can be made up in any way - but we are looking for new ideas, not the old style community led challenges.

Of course, this change isn't meant for communities but anyone can come up with an innovative idea either on their own or a team up to five. Anything that attracts Steemians and increase participation!

My advice would be to organize something that has enough practical work.It's a good learning challenge to include something new rather than repeating the same thing over and over again.
It is not possible to commit any kind of corruption by creating videos with the task of keeping things that can be used by AI away from the selection.However, some things should be chosen that everyone can do.
I have a new idea to teach, a new topic,
A lot has already been taught about textiles, but the topics taught about textiles are all about apparel, which is included in the garments section.I would like to discuss the main raw materials and the lifeblood of textiles here.At the same time, it is necessary to include textiles in learning challenges because it is the second most basic human need that everyone should learn.
So I would like to join this season in discussing the different structural designs of fabric, an important raw material in textiles.There is no problem if they add me to the textile club, but if they don't think this subject will be added to the garment section, then in my opinion I should be given the opportunity to teach individually. @steemcurator01 Sir, I can try it once. Pero ellos demostraron su deseo de aprender, con cada unas de sus tareas realizadas en mi área de ropa íntima.
Personalmente también tengo nuevos temas ya que solo es el comienzo de este proyecto.

The motive behind to lunching new changes in the challenge to eliminate unemployment in this high inflation era. That's really appreciating.
The point is that ideas can be shared Individual or community based and they ideas should be general in nature , creative or Practical approaches that leads to everyone engaging?
It's really a new creation that people will get to learn something new after Season 23 and try to bring something new so it is a very challenge to bring some new ideas and it will also get some new learning and also get to teach. It is a great power and very soon I need a great topic of time and even with the world. #challengepitch
Tanto @naka05 como mi persona @analp, nos sentimos orgullosas del trabajo que realizamos en estas Últimas 3 temporadas del desafío de aprendizaje en Steemit.
Cuando vimos la oportunidad de enseñar el arte del Crochet, lo hicimos teniendo la visión de que quienes ingresarán al curso con verdaderos deseos de aprender, terminarían siendo unos expertos. También visualizamos el hecho de tomar este nuevo conocimiento como la oportunidad de desarrollar un emprendimiento.
Gracias al apoyo y la confianza puesta por @steemitblog a nuestro proyecto de Crochet. Hoy nuestras alumnas que ya pasaron a ser unas expertas, tienen su propio emprendimiento. @marito74 y @crismenia son un ejemplo de que los proyectos de aprendizaje en Steemit sí dan resultados cuando realmente queremos aprender.
