The Diary Game: My busy Saturday: 3rd May, 2025.

It was a beautiful Saturday morning, and I knew I had a busy day ahead of me. As soon as I woke up, I rolled up my sleeves and dived into cleaning the house. The dust bunnies didn't stand a chance as I swept and mopped my way through the rooms. By the time I finished, the house was sparkling, and I felt accomplished.

Next I brushed my mouth and my son Princewill, the bathed him and myself before I prepared noodles and bread for our breakfast. After a quick breakfast, I tackled the laundry. The clothes were many especially that of my son. It was a rainy days throughout the week and that hindered me from washing as there was no means of drying them. The fresh scent of detergent filled the air, and I felt satisfied knowing that the household chores were getting done.

Just as I was finishing up the laundry, my neighbor knocked on the door. She had a special request - could I help her make some spring rolls for her cousin's wedding eve party in Oron?. I happily agreed, and we spent the afternoon wrapping and frying the delicate rolls. The aroma of sizzling vegetables and crispy pastry filled the air, making my stomach growl with anticipation.

By the time we finished, the evening sun was casting a warm glow over the house. I was exhausted but fulfilled, knowing that I had helped my neighbor and gotten my chores done.

As I looked at the remaining spring rolls, I decided that they would make a perfect dinner, paired with a steaming cup of tea. And so, I sat down to enjoy the fruits of my labour, feeling grateful for a productive and satisfying busy Saturday as I wrapped up the day.
