In Dad’s Arms
Hello fellow steemians I'm here to drop my post on this particular contest. This is my first time here. I hope to do well. I want to use this opportunity to thank @hive-141434 for organizing this thoughtful contest. Thank as you read through.
Growing up as a child, I always knew there was something different about the way my father looked at me. He didn’t just see his daughter ,he saw his mother. He believed I was the reincarnation of the woman who raised him, and because of that, his love for me ran deep.
It wasn’t that he didn’t love my siblings no, he loved us all. But with me, there was a bond that even words couldn’t explain. I was his “mother in a child’s body,” as he used to say.
Father's children
My father and I shared everything. We gisted like best friends, laughed over silly jokes, and talked about life like old souls. He told me about his dreams, his past struggles, and the future he once imagined. His biggest dream? To become a barrister. Life didn’t let that happen, but the day I told him I wanted to become a barrister, I saw something light up in his eyes. From that moment, it felt like our hearts beat with the same dream.
In my father’s arms, I found more than protection. I found understanding, strength, and a deep sense of purpose. He never let anyone hurt me emotionally or physically. He was always there: shielding me from storms, calming my fears, and fighting silently for my joy.
Here in Nigeria, Father's Day is not always celebrated with the same level of attention as Mother's Day, but it's still a special time. Churches often take a moment to honor fathers with prayers and short presentations. At home, some families prepare a nice meal, give small gifts, or simply spend quality time together. It may be quiet, but the love is real.
When I read Deuteronomy 1:31 “He has brought us here, as if He were carrying us in His arms…” it reminds me of my father. His arms, both literal and emotional, have carried me to where I am today.
Father and daughter having fun
In Dad’s arms, I feel like I can face the world.
And with his love behind me, I always will.
I want to use this opportunity to invite my friends to also participate in the contest. They're @tempestinyang @nsisong2022 and @mercybliss
Thank you for going through my post and blog.

Hello @julietbella
bienvenida a Recreative steem y a steemit
