Celebrating Father's Day on Sunday

Dear Diary,

Today is June 15,2025. It is the World Father's Day Celebration. It is an honor for the father to be given a one day remembrance for their hardwork and dedication to raise their families.

Early in the morning, we attended church service from 9am to 11am. The message is all about the how the Creator give responsibilities to the father in raising their families. We didn't prepare lunch for the congregation because we planned to go lunch out with the whole church. After the Sunday service, we travel a little bit not later than 30 minutes before we arrived in the nearest fastfood store.

I am the one who ordered for everyone, 12 adults and 3 kids. The line for orders is very long because there were many customer today. I patiently waited until it's my turn. I paid P 1,612.00 or approximately 20 STEEMS in it's current price.

While waiting for our order, we saw the Jollibee mascot walking around. But my daughter is afraid and she is scared. We just took a photo away from the mascot. The kids really enjoys the presence of the cartoon mascot.

We reserved a seat for 12 persons. Our order came as a father's day bundle;

8 pcs chicken bucket
1 spaghetti pan
10 PCs burger steak meal with drinks
2 pcs chicken meal

We also bring a Tupperware of rice because rice is a bit expensive in the fastfood store. We are all rice eater so we bring more rice.

We pray first before eating our meals. I know that we are a bit hungry because it's 12 noon already then we eat together. A moment of silence when we begin eating. When some are full, we started talking a bit about us. We celebrates their day as a hardworking father to each family.

We are not family by blood but we are family by the spirit. I am happy to spend our father's day lunch with these people because we are united in the same belief.

To all father's in this community, thank for being the father your children deserve. May you continue to love and protect your family.
