Wordsmiths Fiction Week 3: The Last Photo | Steemit Challenge Season 24

Hey Steemians!
Welcome back to the third week of Season 24 of the Steemit Challenge, running from May 05 to May 11, 2025!
Are you ready to let your imagination soar high?
As you already know, the Team Wordsmiths is into the fiction niche, giving you the perfect platform to stretch your creativity and craft a compelling story based on this week’s prompt:
Story Prompt
Nadeesha loved wildlife photography. Every weekend, she carried her camera and went deep into the forest near her village. She waited silently for many hours to capture animals in their natural behavior. She has so many collections, like a leopard yawning, a deer drinking water, or a bird feeding its chicks.
One bright morning, before sunrise, she left her home. “Today I am going to explore a new trail. I heard that there is a hidden lake deep in the forest,” she said to her brother.
That night she didn’t return. Her family worried and asked for help. A search crew went into the forest and searched for her everywhere. She was nowhere, but one of the members of the team found her camera lying near an old tree.
When they checked the camera's memory card, they found something strange. They were frightened to see the last photo of the lens. There was a small wooden hut and a half-covered tall figure stood at the door of the hut.
The search crew looked everywhere again and again but no success.

Then where did Nadeesha go? Who or what was the figure in the photo? What was the secret hiding in the forest?
Now it’s your turn to pick up where the prompt leaves off. Let your imagination take a walk in the woods and create a gripping, creative story. We’re excited to see where your mind takes this tale!

Otra semana para echar a volar nuestra imaginación y crear grandes historias les deseo mucho éxito equipo y que está semana sea mayor la participación de los usuarios ya que han sido muy buenas historias las que han escrito estás dos primeras semanas
This time, I'm waiting for your beautiful story.
Hey @senehasa, as you have used an AI-generated image and mentioned it in your description. Are we also allowed to use AI-generated images in our posts, as long as we clearly state the source?
Just wanted to clarify the guidelines before participating. Thanks!
Yes, you can use AI-generated images, but mention that they are AI-generated. If possible, also specify the AI model used such as DALL-E, Flux, or Leonardo AI, for example. Ensure that the images are relevant, and you may use up to two images, excluding the thumbnail.
I know it's not an easy task to get the perfect relevant image from AI because it takes a lot of prompting (human effort). So I don't think it goes against the "proof of brain" concept. The real issue arises with AI writing when users rely entirely on AI-generated content with no human involvement and that is something we do not allow.
You can get as many writing ideas from AI as you want; no one can stop that. As long as you're the one turning those ideas into something meaningful and logical, I'm personally fine with it.

You have explained everything in detail which should serve the users as a perfect guideline.
@aniqamashkoor, Besides what @waqarahmadshah said, users are not getting paid for the images but for the content so if you generate your content through AI, that is against the rules and not acceptable.
Note- Even some AI generated images are copyrighted so read the result before using them.
Thank you so much, I appreciate the clear guidelines @waqarahmadshah @dove11 I got it. I was simply asking about the image creation that too out of curiosity as the contest post had it, besides this the rules are pretty clear about the content creation and posting for this platform.
We will add a bullet point about AI-generated images in the guidelines section of next week's contest announcement post. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
