Participation statistics

During the SEC Season 17, Week 4 competition focused on crypto asset diversification, we were pleased to host 20 participants, reflecting the vibrant interest and dynamic involvement within our community. However, the evaluation process revealed several compliance and quality issues that need our attention.

Firstly, we discovered that 4 of the 20 entries were generated using artificial intelligence. Our academy explicitly prohibits AI-generated content in submissions to promote originality and personal contribution from our participants. Consequently, these entries were disqualified for violating our competition rules.

Additionally, one entry was deemed ineligible for not adhering to the Club5050 participation rules. This initiative is crucial for ensuring fair and balanced contributions within our community, and non-compliance led to exclusion from the evaluation process.

Despite these challenges, the remaining 15 entries showcased high quality, with participants demonstrating thoughtful analysis and innovative diversification strategies. They effectively used visual aids to enhance their presentations, adhering to the competition rules and reflecting a deep understanding of the complexities involved in crypto asset diversification.

These incidents underline the importance of strict adherence to competition guidelines and the ethical standards of our community. They also provide an opportunity for us to reflect on our monitoring processes and the education of participants regarding the rules. As we continue to foster a culture of integrity and innovation, we will enhance our efforts to ensure all participants are well-informed about the competition's regulations and the consequences of non-compliance.

We meticulously analyzed the quality and integrity of the submissions received. Here is a detailed breakdown of our findings:

  • Excellent Content: 20% of the entries were distinguished by their exceptional content. These submissions not only adhered to all competition guidelines but also showcased innovative approaches and deep analytical insight, setting a high standard for future competitions.

  • Good Quality: The majority of the entries, comprising 55%, were of good quality. These submissions met the competition criteria effectively and demonstrated a solid understanding of crypto asset diversification principles. They provided valuable insights, though they did not quite reach the exemplary level of the top submissions.

  • Plagiarized Content: Regrettably, 20% of the entries contained plagiarized content. This is a significant concern as it goes against the core values of originality and integrity that our community upholds. These submissions were identified through our rigorous verification process and were disqualified from the competition.

  • Invalid Submissions: A small fraction, 5% of the entries, were considered invalid due to non-compliance with specific competition rules such as the use of AI-generated content or failure to adhere to the Club5050 rules.

Reflections on the Results:

These results highlight the diverse levels of engagement and adherence to ethical standards within our community. The high percentage of good and excellent quality submissions is encouraging and demonstrates a strong commitment to learning and improvement. However, the presence of plagiarized and invalid entries underlines the need for clearer communication of rules and the importance of ethical conduct.

Going forward, we will intensify our efforts to educate participants about the competition rules and the ethical expectations. We aim to reduce the incidence of non-compliance and plagiarism in future competitions, ensuring that our community continues to grow in a positive and constructive manner.
