Game Of The Year From 2004 - 2023 || Part 15 || Tron Fan Club
Greetings everyone. Hopefully everyone is doing fine and having a good time in the community. I am fine alhamdulillah.
It's been quite someday since I published the last part of this goty series. Today in part 15 we're going to check out some of the best games that got released on 2022.
Let's not waste more words get straight to the point.
Elding Ring
Elden Ring is the latest AAA title from FromSoftware studios. And this game won the game of the year title for 2022. This one is another souls game developed by the same studios that developed Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. And just like Sekiro won the goty on 2019, Elding Ring has also managed to claim the game of the year title again on 2022. The game is mostly praised for it's amazing graphics and gameplay mechanism. The gameplay of the game feels super smooth and the in-game atmosphere and the detailing of the game was done really well. This game has a ton of fans mostly for it's amazing open world design, character customization, lore and combat system. The game also features a dynamic weather system and a day-night cycle, which can impact gameplay, affecting visibility, enemy behavior, and other aspects of the environment.
Elden Ring has sold over 23 million copies as of now. Such huge numbers alone tell how good the game actually is.
God Of War: Ragnarok
Another top game of 2022 was God of War: Ragnarök. This game comes at second position after Elden Ring. Some even considers this better than Elden Ring also. I, myself is one of them. I think God of War 5 should have won the game of the year title of 2022. GoW 4 was already perfect and the developers actually managed to make another sequel which exceeds all previous accomplishments. The graphical improvements and the visual updates can be noticed a lot in this new installment of the series. The combat system is quite the same but it still feels more polished than before. This game was loved for it's story and the perfect conclusion of the Norse Arc. The protagonist completes his journey in Norse mythology in this game. The story of the game has evolved and improved over four chapters or additional games, resulting in its current quality. While the game didn't win the title of Game of the Year, it did receive several other awards and nominations at the Game Awards 2022.
God Of War: Ragnarök has sold over 15 million units. And I'm sure that the game's popularity will rapidly increase because there are rumors about it coming to PC ports. We might get this game on PC very soon.

Great article on game of the year, I see you have written about God of war: Ragnarok, I quit remember this game and ofcourse it sure sets the stage for an action game, thanks for sharing.
